NHL Playoff Schedule 2011: Tampa Bay Lightning Vs. Pittsburgh Penguins

The Tampa Bay Lightning have made the NHL playoffs for the first time in four season, and they’ll be facing the Pittsburgh Penguins in the first round. Since the Penguins are the higher seed, they’ll have home ice advantage in this series; the Bolts will only be home for games three, four, and six.

No. 4 Pittsburgh Penguins vs. No. 5 Tampa Bay Lightning

Game 1: Wed., April 13 at 7 p.m.
Game 2: Fri., April 15 at 7 p.m.
Game 3: Mon., April 18 at 7:30 p.m.
Game 4: Wed., April 20 at 7:30 p.m.
Game 5: Sat., April 23 at TBD
Game 6: Mon., April 25 at TBD
Game 7: Wed., April 27 at TBD

The last time the Lightning made it to the playoffs was in 2007, when the Bolts went 44-33-5 for 93 points and came in second in the Southeast Division behind the Atlanta Thrashers. This season, the Bolts finished with a 44-25-11 record, good for 103 points and second place in the Southeast Division behind the Washington Capitals.
