These are the "premier" replica jerseys, so they aren't quite the real thing. But if you can do without fight straps and all those things that really don't matter to anyone who isn't actually playing hockey in their jersey, this should do just fine. Of course you can customize it with the name and number of a current player, or make up one of your own, despite the potential for horrific jersey fouls.

I didn't buy a Lightning jersey when they changed their look in 2007 because I wasn't really a fan of either design. (And at the time, the Bolts only visited Dallas for a regular-season game once every three years, so I would almost never get to wear it.) But I think that blue jersey is an instant classic. A clean design, the laces up near the collar, no team name or numbers on the front, and over time the simple logo should become instantly recognizable.

Only one downside -- you have to wait until October 1 for them to be shipped out. That should still be plenty of time for yours to arrive so you can look good at the Lightning's home opener on October 17.
