Devils Vs. Lightning: Pair Of Martin St. Louis Goals Gives Bolts Lead

After two periods, the Tampa Bay Lightning hold a 2-1 lead over the New Jersey Devils in Newark.

After trailing 1-0 after one period, it would be Martin St. Louis who would get things going for the Lightning, scoring his 20th and 21st goals of the season to put the Bolts ahead.

The first goal, scored at the 6:39 mark of the period was assisted by Steven Stamkos and Mathieu Garon. The second came at the 14:55 mark and was also assisted by Stamkos and Teddy Purcell.

St. Louis has now clinched his ninth consecutive season with at least 20 goals.

Alexi Ponikarovsky has the lone goal for the Devils, as he scored at 12:07 in the first period.

New Jersey holds the advantage in shots 14-12.
