Islanders Vs. Lightning: Tim Wallace's Late Goal Gives Tampa Bay 4-3 Win

Tim Wallace's goal with 7:50 left in the game broke a 3-3 tie and gave the Tampa Bay Lightning a 4-3 win over the New York Islanders Saturday night at the Tampa Bay Times Forum.

With the score tied 2-2 after the second intermission, the Islanders had taken a 3-2 lead after Matt Moulson scored his 33rd goal of the season just 43 seconds into the third period. The score stayed that way until the 9:08 mark of the period, when Tom Pyatt scored his 11th goal of the season to make the score 3-3 before Wallace finished the job 3:02 later.

Dwayne Roloson was outstanding in net for Tampa Bay, making 34 saves, while Islanders goalie Al Montoya only stopped 22 shots for New York.
