Despite ongoing labor negotiations between the NHL and NHLPA on a new collective bargaining agreement, the Tampa Bay Lightning will begin selling tickets to its two home preseason games at 10 a.m. Friday, the club announced Thursday morning.
If the NHL and NHLPA can come to an agreement before Sept. 15 -- the deadline date for a potential lockout set by commissioner Gary Bettman -- the Lightning will play two games at the Tampa Bay Times Forum during the preseason. The two scheduled contests include the St. Louis Blues on Sept. 26 and the Florida Panthers on Oct. 4.
Tickets can be purchased at www.ticketmaster.com or by calling 1-800-745-3000.
