The 2012 World Series has been over for less than 24 hours, but futures odds are already out for the 2013 season.

The Tampa Bay Rays are expected to have a decent shot of making the playoffs after finishing three games away from a Wild Card spot in 2012, and have the 12th best odds in the league at 20-1 to win the World Series. The outlook for the Miami Marlins is half as favorable, as they have 40-1 odds to win. The Rays are second in the AL East, behind only the New York Yankees in their division. Miami is fourth in theirs, ahead of only the New York Mets in the NL East.

The Detroit Tigers have the best odds to win next season, at 6-1, despite being swept in the World Series, with the Yankees team they swept in the ALCS coming in next at 7-1. The San Francisco Giants are 10-1 to repeat as champions, just ahead of the Los Angeles Angels, Texas Rangers and Washington Nationals.
