With left-handed pitcher Matt Harrison on the mound, the Rays are rolling out a lineup today that looks very similar to the one they played with for Games One and Two of this series. They have stacked the middle of their order with their right-handed hitters (minus Damon), and moved Casey Kotchman and Matt Joyce to the bottom of the lineup.
Meanwhile, the Rangers are still rolling out the same lineup as always against right-hander Jeremy Hellickson. They did add David Murphy to the lineup over Craig Gentry, but it's a relatively minor move. When you have such a strong offensive core of a team, you don’t need to move players around quite as much as the Rays; they have to play matchups more since they have to extract every possible advantage out of their lineup.
Game time is 2pm. Both lineups provided by Marc Topkin from the St. Petersburg Times.
