Nearly at the halfway point into today’s game, the Rays are now looking for a comeback. Starter Wade Davis allowed 4 runs in his 3 innings of work, though some shoddy defense inflated those numbers.
In the 2nd and 3rd innings, the Rays added some runs to the scoreboard, but still trail the Pirates 4-2.
The Rays 5th starter, Jeremy Hellickson, should be pitching soon. Hellickson has been generally ranked the Rays top pitching prospect this past off season and should make for one of the best #5 pitchers in the MLB.
