2011 Tampa Bay Rays Season Schedule

Today is Opening Day! Well, technically Opening Day for all of baseball was yesterday, but since the Rays didn't start it didn't feel quite the same. It's tough to contain my excitement for tonight, though: the Rays finally kick off their 2011 season!

Since the Rays are finally getting going, what do we have to look forward to with the Rays season schedule? In short, plenty.

    ↵
  • First series against the Red Sox is coming up soon: April 11-13, in Boston.
  • ↵
  • Interleague match-ups against the Brewers, Marlins, Astros, and Reds.
  • ↵
  • Awesome promotions, like replica Davis Price arm sleeves (Apr 17), a Joe Maddon bank (May 1), a Manny Ramirez bobblehead (May 19), and a DJ Kitty puppet (July 3).
  • ↵
  • A second half of the season that begins with 7 straight home games against the Red Sox and Yankees.
  • ↵
  • Oh, and in September, the Rays have a chance to do some real damage. They have 12 games against the Red Sox and Yanks that month.
