When Tuesday's game between the Tampa Bay Rays and Minnesota Twins was postponed due to bad weather, nobody batted an eye. Outdoor baseball in Minnesota is always going to be a challenge this early in the year, so you have to expect that sometimes games are going to be cancelled as a result of rain or snow. But when the game was rescheduled as part of a doubleheader this Thursday, the Rays were disappointed. From Marc Topkin, St. Petersburg Times:
↵↵↵But they were rather unhappy that the Twins scheduled the game to be made up on Thursday night as part of what is now a split doubleheader rather then when the Rays return in July.
↵The Rays had two primary objections: that the weather will still be inclement and uncomfortable on Thursday; and that the additional game will be taxing as they won't arrive home until 4-5 a.m. Friday, then have to face the Angels that night and again at 1 p.m. Saturday, playing four games in a span of about 51 hours.

And judging from the current weather report in Minnesota, can you really blame them?
↵↵Looks like perfect baseball weather to me!
