I mean really, is this considered newsworthy?
↵↵↵Miller's sources expect the Rays to trade B.J. Upton by Sunday.

Do you really need inside sources to tell you this sort of information? I mean, really, how obvious is it that people expect Upton to get traded by the deadline? Heck, I could have told you that two months ago.
↵Oh wait, I did.
↵↵↵In my mind, the likelihood of the Rays trading Upton before this season's trading deadline is considerably high. ... Tthe Rays can use the trading deadline to their advantage, as teams are normally willing to overpay to acquire parts down the stretch. And on top of that, the Rays need to find room on their roster for Desmond Jennings, who has been tearing up Triple-A this season (.387 wOBA). Even if the Rays are still in the playoff race, you could conceivably make the argument that the Rays wouldn't experience a large drop off by switching out Jennings for Upton.

The trade deadline does wacky things to people, and you hear all sorts of rumor-mongering as writers attempt to get a scoop and have their voice heard. But please, it'd be a lot easier to stomach all the rumors if people would use a tad of common sense when deciding what to report on. Not everything should be newsworthy.
