Report: Manny Ramirez Arrested In Domestic Incident

After writing our earlier report that Manny Ramirez had been arrested, TMZ updated their story with more details about the arrest. While specifics are still vague, it appears as though Ramirez was involved in a “domestic altercation” with his wife.

Ramirez was arrested around 7:00 PM tonight, and his wife Juliana left shortly thereafter.

Well, one thing is definitely for certain: this hasn’t been Manny’s year. He was forced to either leave baseball or be suspended for the majority of the year, all but ruining his Hall of Fame aspirations (granted, through his own stupidity in taking steroids), and now this incident. All his problems seem to be self-inflicted, so here’s hoping he gets the help he needs to get on track with his life.

Ramirez finished his career with 555 homeruns, 1,831 RBIs, and a .312 batting average. He spent the majority of his time with the Indians and Red Sox, although he did moonlight with the Dodgers, White Sox, and Rays are the end of his career.
