Rays Vs. Mariners: Tampa Bay Begins A Four Game Series Against Seattle

The Tampa Bay Rays begin a four-game series with the Seattle Mariners on Monday. Can Jeremy Hellickson get his fourth win of the season?

The Tampa Bay Rays open up a four-game home-stand against the Seattle Mariners on Monday night at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Fla. Since losing to the Boston Red Sox on April 15, the Rays have been on fire winning 10 of their last 13 games and seven of their last eight.

Jeremy Hellickson takes the hill for the Rays on Monday, with a 3-0 record with a 2.84 ERA. His last start six innings with five hits and one run allowed against the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim on April 25. Former AL Cy Young winner Felix Hernandez will start for the Mariners. Hernandez is coming off a start against the Detroit Tigers on April 25. Hernandez allowed only one run on four hits.

The game is scheduled for a 7:10 p.m. first pitch. The game will be broadcast on Sunshine Sports with radio coverage on WDAE 620.
