In the eighth inning of Wednesday evenings matchup with the Boston Red Sox, Tampa Bay Rays second baseman Will Rhymes took a Franklin Moralis fastball to the arm, and made his way to first base to take his bag. Something weird happened with Rhymes afterward, as he suddenly passed out while standing on first base, collapsing to the ground.
Take a look after the jump.

Rhymes tried to tough out being hit by the pitch and stay in the game, but clearly something happened when he was hit in the arm. He laid on the ground for a little while, while being attended to by the Rays medical staff. With some help, Rhymes got back to his feet and sat on a cart, before being carted off of the baseball field.
