Tampa Bay Rays Reveal 1979 'Throwback Uniform'

The Tampa Bay Rays came into the MLB in 1998, originally as the Devil Rays, and don't have much when it comes to choosing a throwback uniform. There were some kind of bad late '90's uniforms to use, but for the most part the Rays uniforms haven't change a whole lot.

On June 30th however, the Rays will wear some 1979 uniforms for their "Turn Back The Clock" game. The Rays didn't exist in 1979 though, so they've revealed some hypothetical uniforms the team will wear. Take a look at them after the jump.

Well.. those certainly are "turning back the clock". I guess they're not terrible... right?
