After dropping two of three to the Boston Red Sox over the weekend, the Tampa Bay Rays will look to get the second half of their season on track against the visiting Cleveland Indians. Trailing New York by eight and a half games, the Rays need all the wins they can get to keep their name firmly in the Wild Card hunt.
Alex Cobb finished off his first half of the season with a July 6 win over Cleveland. In that outing he worked six innings, allowing three runs for his fourth win. He takes the hill on Monday night looking for a repeat performance.
Cleveland will have right-hander Zach McAllister on the mound for his eighth start of the season. McAllister is 3-1 with a 3.40 ERA.
Monday night's game starts at 7:10 p.m. at the Trop. Fans can watch the game on Sun Sports.
