Indians Vs. Rays Preview: David Price Can Be First To Reach 13 Wins

Following a 10-6 loss on Wednesday, the Rays will play the finale of the four-game series against the Indians on Thursday and look to even the series at two games each. However, with just two wins in the six games since the All-Star Break ended, the Rays deficit in the AL East has swelled to over 10 games with the Yankees continuing to dominate as the MLB's best team.

To catch up, or at the very least get into wild card contention, the Rays will need to start picking up games and can do so against Ubaldo Jimenez. The Indians pitcher struggled mightily in his last start on Saturday allowing eight runs before being yanked with one out in the third inning.

Taking the mound for the Rays will be David Price, who has the chance to become the first pitcher in the MLB to reach 13 wins. He became the first AL pitcher to reach 12 wins on Saturday when he held the Red Sox to just three runs (two earned) in just under eight innings pitched.

The first pitch on Thursday is scheduled for 12:10 at Tropicana Field and will be televised on Sun Sports and STO Network.
