Royals Vs. Rays: Game Time, TV Schedule And More

After beating the Kansas City Royals 5-1 on Monday night, the Tampa Bay Rays will look to repeat the feat on Tuesday with ace David Price on the mound at Tropicana Field.

Tampa Bay is the hottest team in baseball having won 12 of its last 14 including a current 5-game winning streak. With the offense struggling all year, the Rays managed to stay in the race. Now with Evan Longoria healthy and hitting, the team has completely taken off to lead the AL Wild-Card chase.

With Price on the mound, Tampa will be formidable once again. The 26-year-old has been dominant this season with a 16-4 record and 2.39 ERA, putting himself in the conversation for the AL Cy Young.

In his last three outings, Price has pitched 22 innings and only allowed two runs on 12 hits. In fact, the last time Price has given up more than three earned runs is all the way back on June 13.

Against Price will be Luke Hochevar, who has had a tough 2012. The once highly-touted prospect has 11 losses and a 5.24 ERA to his name. However, he pitched a complete game shutout the last time he tangled with the Rays back on June 25.

TV: SUN Sports

Time: 7:10 p.m. ET
