Orioles Vs. Rays Recap: Baltimore Outlasts Tampa Bay In 10 Inning Pitchers Duel

It took 10 innings, but a run was finally scored between the Baltimore Orioles and Tampa Bay Rays Sunday, with the O's picking up the win in extra innings, 1-0.

David Price was stellar on the mound for the Rays, allowing just two hits in eight innings, however the offense was silenced by Miguel Gonzalez who allowed two hits as well in seven innings.

After both sides failing to score a run for the first nine innings, the Orioles broke the scoring open with a Taylor Teagarden RBI double. In the bottom half of the tenth, Jim Johnson pitched a clean inning to pick up his 32nd save.

The Rays only managed just three hits the entire afternoon, with Matt Joyce, B.J. Upton and Carlos Pena being the only players that were able to hit safely.
