The Tampa Bay Rays will have a familiar face back in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Toronto Blue Jays. Third baseman Evan Longoria will be activated from the disabled list.

Longoria has been out since April with a hamstring injury. The Rays have certainly missed him. With Longoria in the lineup, Tampa Bay was 15-8 with 4.61 runs per game. Without their third baseman, the Rays had a 41-44 record and scored just 8.86 runs per game.
In a rehab assignment, Longoria was 5-for-25, wrapping it up with two hits and a walk on Sunday. He says his hamstring is not back to 100 percent, but is going to play through it, according to Mark Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times.
