Victor Rudd hopes to take USF back to the NCAA Tournament. Rudd told reporters on Tuesday of the improvements he's made to his game in the offseason:
"I've added post moves. I'm working out with our post players, and I've added a mid-range shot. I want to do more than shoot a majority of 3s. I want to balance it out with a post game, getting to the basket and getting to the line."
The Bulls qualified for the NCAA Tournament last season for the first time since 1992 and only the third time in school history. Not only did they make it to the tournament, USF pulled an upset over No. 5-seed Temple.
This year, the team has its sights set on a return to the NCAA Tournament. Victor Rudd could have advanced into the NBA draft, but instead, he decided to stick around for his junior year with hopes of another tournament birth.
Last season, Rudd averaged 9.3 points and 4.8 rebounds per game.
