South Florida vs. Louisville 2012 preview: Bulls look to end losing streak

Coming off its bye week, South Florida looks to snap its four-game losing streak against the undefeated Louisville Cardinals.

Kim Klement-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire

A struggling South Florida Bulls team will take on the undefeated Louisville Cardinals in a Big East conference matchup. Louisville (6-0, 1-0) currently ranks third in the Big East standings, behind Rutgers and Temple.

By contrast, USF (2-4, 0-2) is at the bottom, just ahead of Pittsburgh (2-4, 0-3). The Bulls' four losses have come consecutively, falling to Rutgers, Ball State, Florida State and Temple after wins against Chattanooga and Nevada to open the season.

Louisville has wins over Kentucky, Missouri State, North Carolina, Florida International, Southern Mississippi and Pittsburgh. Louisville quarterback Teddy Bridgewater has thrown for 1,438 yards, nine touchdowns and three interceptions. So far this season, Bridgewater is completing close to 72 percent of his passes.

The Bulls haven't lost by more than 13 points, which shows the team has enough to hang around in these games. USF will try to piece everything together coming off its bye week.
