Even with a disappointing 2-3 start to the season for South Florida, Saturday's game against Temple is an opportunity to for the Bulls to get back on track. South Florida is a 3.5-point favorite in the game, according to the odds makers.
Temple is just 1-2 this season, with its lone victory coming in the season opener against Villanova on Aug. 31. Since then, the Owls have dropped games to both Maryland and Penn State.
South Florida holds victories over Chattanooga and Nevada, but are losers of three straight, to Rutgers, Ball State and Florida State. Quarterback B.J. Daniels has struggled to lead the offense this season, with just nine touchdown passes compared to seven interceptions. Daniels is only completing 55 percent of his passes.
