The South Florida Bulls scored 35 points in the second half to pull away from the Stetson Hatters, 63-54, on Monday night.
Toarlyn Fitzpatrick scored a team-high 20 points to lead the Bulls (4-2) to their fourth win of the season. Fitzpatrick also added nine rebounds to his stat line.
The Bulls dominated the rebounding game as a whole. They out-rebounded the Hatters, 40-27.
Jawanza Poland recorded a double-double for the Bulls. He had 19 points and 10 rebounds, which was a team high Monday.
The Hatters, who fell to 2-2 with the loss, had double-digit points from three players. Joel Naburgs led the scoring with 18 points in 33 minutes on the court. He also had five rebounds.
Also helping the offense was Aaron Graham, who scored 15 points and had seven rebounds. Willie Green chipped in with 11 points and six rebounds on the night.
The Bulls will try for their third win in a row Friday when they host Georgia at 7 p.m. ET. The Hatters are back in action Wednesday at VCU.
