UConn vs. USF 2012: TV schedule, game time, spread and more

USF and UConn go head-to-head on Saturday in a battle between two teams in the Big East without a conference win this season.

Andy Lyons

One team in the UConn vs. South Florida matchup is going to finally get its first Big East victory of the season, as both teams have struggled leading up to Saturday's game. Connecticut and USF are a combined 0-7 in conference play, but something is going to have to give on Saturday.

USF has dropped all six of its losses in a row. The Bulls' last win came against Nevada on Sept. 8. Since then, they've lost to Rutgers, Ball State, Florida State, Temple, Louisville and Syracuse.

UConn comes in as losers of its last three; at the hands of Rutgers, Temple and Syracuse two weeks ago.

While both teams have struggled, the Huskies have been better defensively, giving up just 19.3 points a game. Where UConn struggles is on offense, averaging just 18 points a game.

The game starts at 7 p.m. ET and will be available on ESPNU. USF is an 8-point favorite by the odds makers.
